1. Pretty much flatlined here. Unemployment getting worse. Seems like

it's bouncing around near the bottom but still not there yet. Oh - I am in MA.

2. It looks pretty grim around here
Stores are trimming inventory by holding sales and few people are buying.

It looks like they finally did kill the goose that laid the golden eggs. The consumer economy is just about dead.
