pretty much, at this point the only thing republicans have is threatening to shut down the government because they want to stomp their feet like children and have more more more more tax cuts for the ultra wealthy and because they have nothing else.


fuck 'em, I say. let them shut down the government. let them go out in front of the american people and take on the president, especially one this wildly popular, in the middle of this recession and try to explain it away.


2010 will see at least 5 seats in the senate picked up by the democratic party.
