The propaganda machine is spreading bad information this law will remove the secret ballot in an organizing election of workers wanting to go union. This is NOT true.

Bank of America took 50 MILLION of OUR tax dollars in the bailout, and gave it to corporations to stop passage of this bill to protect workers.

1. I Heard Carson Cooper On WUSF Radio Spew The Same Propaganda And LIEs The Other Day!

:think: The fact is that the Employee Free Choice Act DOES NOT eliminate the secret ballot it just makes it the employees choice as to whether or not the employees actually want an election or not. If 51% decide that they want the union by signing the card in the affirmative... the union is IN! This IS THE TRUTH!

What this Act prevents is the PROFESSIONAL INTIMIDATION of employees to vote against choosing collective bargaining. I have heard John Russell speak of his experiences here in Florida having observed attempts by a large employer to thwart labor organizing of a certain large hospital in the Tampa area. John described his disgust as he watched ALL of the UNFAIR tactics brought to bear to intimidate employees including FIRING of employees who spoke even casually in favor of unionization.

As I have mentioned here, John Russell STRONGLY FAVORS the Employee Free Choice Act becoming LAW! He is a populist who has fought for years for rational policies that are beneficial to employees as well as business. This is one of them.

As for the media, they are CORPORATE! Do not be fooled by the community radio malarkey spewed by one local station in particular or public radio by another which employs Mr Cooper. These stations are in the business of working w/ the "Powers that Be" and will not cross ANY line that might tick one of said powers off! :think:
