They are running promos about Carl Levin non-stop in which they pronounce Levin's name "la-VIN." Just like that right-wing hate-fest host Mark "ashamed to be a Jew" Levin pronounces his name. The same guy that has garnered the number one NYT book rating based on giveaways of his unsellable book. It's a small thing, I guess, but something I've noticed, that bugs the hell out of me.

These right-wing asswipes get my blood boiling. Have I said tonight how much I hate these "people?"

Hopefully, the demographics are drowning these Neanderthals, but they are really trying to bring down the country with them. Lies, lies, and lies. I'm a non-violent person, but I wouldn't be ashamed to fantasize about strangling Sean Hannity with my bare hands.

1. Your First Mistake...Watching Faux
I wouldn't be surprised if they screwed up Senator lev-Vins name...they never get anything right on that waste of electrons. At least they didn't have him listed as an (R).

Faux androids are like those 100 years ago who were afraid of electricity...turn it on and it'll drip out of the light socket. They lived in the dark a lot longer than ther rest of us.

My fantasy (if I even wasted the time) would be for all those on Faux to wake up one day and see how far to the left they've pushed the country by conddling to the extreme right and driving millions of moderates and independents away from their corrupt and inept party. Oops...guess that fantasy came true last November.

2. Average age of the Fox "News" viewer = 67.
They've undoubtedly lost part of their "base" just today. Do the math. Give it time. We are going to win.

4. Actually, the pronunciation may vary according to city.
For example, in Philly, the emphasis on the second part, e.g., Le - VIN, is the more common pronunciation of that fairly common Jewish surname. Similarly, the name Shapiro is often pronounced in Philly as "Sha - PIE - ro" instead of "Sha - PEER- oh."

I learned this when I moved to other cities. Growing up, I thought the Le - VIN variation was the correct or at least most common pronunciation. Actually, "LEV - in" -- the way Carl Levin, himself says his name -- is predominant in the United States.

Having said this, Fox News is, nevertheless, completely odious.

7. It's because they are a propaganda network, they don't care to do actual research
...into the correct way to pronounce anything from the "other side".

Although in this case, everyone knows the correct pronunciation. It's deliberate and designed to divide - there, I've said it.
