I've Figured Out What Pisses The Reichwing Off The Most About Obama
It's not that he shook hands with Chavez.

It's not that he's willing to talk to world leaders the GOP abhors.

Nope, I figured it out while watching a rerun of the Daily Show from Tuesday and he played a clip of Cheney saying the Bush Administration chose to just ignore Chavez. But that's not really true. When Chavez threw out the egregious bullshit, they ALWAYS RESPONDED!

Then it hit me.

The thing that pisses them off the most.

The thing that is driving them craziest.

That thing is the fact that Obama is ignoring their egregious bullshit.

Obama ignores the Birther bullshit.

Obama ignores their Texas Secession bullshit.

Obama ignores Cheney, for Christ's sake!

Yep, the thing that pisses the Reichwing off the most about Obama is that he can ignore egregious bullshit, and not say anything about it, while the Reichwing claims they ignore the egregious bullshit and then always respond to it.

They're pissed off at Obama because he can keep his cool while they cannot.

1. I couldn't agree with you more. So often I have said to myself "Please Mr. President don't
respond to this idiotic statement.. or that idiotic statement" and 99.9% of the time he doesn't. He just ignores it and goes on to something else. I so admire the way he chooses his battles.

2. i think what also is pissing them off is....
they have the media. the media is spouting their bs all over the place. the media has THEM on all the time to put their points out there. the media wants what they want and is trying to help. but Obama is as popular as ever. his numbers aren't suffering even though they keep yakking about all that bs trying to make people start doubting him. but it isn't working. usually it does.

4. Hmmmm....you may have something there.
i always thought it was because he was black but thinking about it the fact that he is a black man and ignoring them could be even more infuriating.

9. yep
They are bullies - and we have all seen bullies frustrated by people who dismiss them, particularly when it is people they consider their "inferiors."

The fact is that sometimes bullies DO need to be confronted, but that needs to be only when they have gotten really threatening and then needs to be really decisive. Responding to schoolyard taunts just encourages more of the same. Give them enough rope, egg them on subtlely, and then call in an airstrike.

It reminds me of a lot of screaming children, having temper tantrums, and one adult is standing in the room ignoring it all with a smile of benevolence. interesting.
