The 'American' Way is that the Ends don't justify the Means.
GWB threw that all out the window.

It's not even about the final acts, it was the motivation and the means to do what they did.

We need to examine the policy process,if only to let a lot of innocent people off the hook: the CIA inspector general, the Army, the Navy, the Marines, the Air Force.

A world of folks have taken flak for this and don't deserve to.

The Bush Administration was willing to let some low-ranking national guard troops take all the flak. And one NG general.
