it is a shame that a POS like Markoff got through the screening process...but again, he is the son of a dentist and did the right things (volunteering in an Emergency Room, etc) to get into Medical school and was given every opportunity to make it. What a shame because there are a myriad of qualified candidates that cannot apply to medical school because of lack of finances and "connections"... so, your point is correct. He is the reverse Susan Boyle: Good looks and looks good on paper...but rotten and worthless to the core.

2. There are a lot of them out there. I suspect, though, that in fickle fashion,

many of them will drift away from those clubs. It's only "fun" when "your guy" is "Top Dog." Now that the Wee Cowboy has trotted off into the sunset, they'll probably play at being Democrats, some of them.

It's all about being on the winning side for some of those folks.
