4. That's the difference between you and me...
My first thought is always "Vince Welnick of The Tubes," not the Grateful Dead. :)

8. Society, on the other hand, has absolutely NO PROBLEMS at all, nor does it CAUSE problems.
I would mention that sensitive, caring, artistic people are desperately hurt in a toxic, ugly society like this, but I'm sure that would only result in more denial and blaming.

11. Saints can't have problems?
I'm not sure how having problems relates to sainthood.

13. Nevermind that the SOCIETY has problems.
Of course, it's a given that the society is just fine, and anyone suffering from it has "problems".

:wtf:

6. How did Walmart get to be the place
for expressing one's total frustration with life?

9. I think it's less about "evil" Walmart and more about the fact
that perhaps it's the only public place in the vicinity. I would like to know if this is in the sticks or not.

17. Probably has more to do with him being arrested there.

Story says he started stabbing himself when the cops arrived. Given that he's already spent time in the big house, I can see where he wouldn't want to go back. He would've likely done the same had it been a grocery market, service station, post office, whatever.
