I may be having my head in the sand, but I wasnt scared of y2k, I wasnt scared of bird flu, I wasnt scared of the big bad terrorist who was going coming and get me, I wasnt scared of the immigrants in my neighborhood, and I anit scare of swine flu, although im sure some company will want me to buy a shot for it to keep me safe.

4. Well remember, peter is the WHO and the wolf is the pandemic
that we are overdue for... 1918, 1957, 1968

And in the end Peter did face a wolf

And you really do not want to know some of the bad jokes a few WHO delegates made in '96 the first time they blew the horn

That was the year I first heard of BIRD FLU...

2. i just read that a vaccine against this particular H1N1 strain...
...would take months to develop.

If this does turn out to be an epidemic---the bulk of the damage would probably be done before a vaccine could
be developed.

I don't think I'd trust big Pharma on something like this.
