25. I have been saying this for years, albeit not quite so eloquently...

as a veteran, I know what kind of people are in the military; dedicated men and women that are sworn to uphold the Constitution and protect this nation. Something conservatives unceasingly fail to do.

The Services are inherently conservative because it is the nature to protect what we love. However, the men and women who have seen combat, sacrificed a portion of their lives, or their lives, to defend this nation, know they do it because we are a nation of ideals, not just a nation comprised of bombastic ungrateful fools, (read neo-Conservatives). Virtually all of the veterans I know, want war to end, but will fight for this nation if they have to; not so those who send them into harms way.

I know many veterans, and few of them hold Limbaugh, Hannity, O'Reilly or Savage in any higher esteem than they do a slug. For those of us who have served, we know that those who didn't are cowards. I have sat in the presence of heroes, I have been at the burial of heroes, only cowards are missing...they always are.
