Pirate Bay Prosecution Law Firm Under Attack
During the Pirate Bay trial Monique Wadsted represented several major movie studios and called for a very significant prison sentence for the defendants. This didnt go down particularly well with some Pirate Bay supporters and now, in a retaliatory move, a few of them have now taken down her law firms website.

Taking on The Pirate Bay in court seems to be asking for trouble. A few days ago the IFPIs website was DDoSed by a group of Pirate Bay supporters. Now MAQS, movie industry lawyer Monique Wadsteds site, has been targeted and taken down.

The DDoS attack against the IFPI website was part of Operation Baylout which also encouraged people to send black faxes to movie industry lawyer Monique Wadsted. We dont know if her fax machine survived, but Wadsteds law firms website is now out of business also.

Mayhaps the "very significant jail time" hit a nerve. They may never have a website again.

1. Black fax.....lol
Reminds me of the old days with roll fax paper. The trick was to fax to them a roll of toilet paper while the office was closed.

4. I disapprove
Although I'm strongly on the side of TPB, and although they may well end up calling a mistral since it emerged that the trial judge sits on the board of firectors of an anti-priacy organization, DDOS attacks and the like on the prosecution are:

a) vandalism
b) undermining the cause of TPB
c) inviting extralegal tactics in return - why not just DDOS the Pirate Bay itself?
