6. They want another Matt Ryan.
They may be a day late and a dollar short. I hope he does well, but That is a saaad team. They started well last year, and then ran out of something.

I haven't watched much sports since I got married in 1998, but I thought I heard this about the Lions.

9. That's how you get first draft pick
and the first pick of the second round, etc. It seems to have a way of evening things out in the long run, if the owner doesn't sell off the draft picks.

I somehow erased an entire year. It was the year before that they started well. It must have taken everything out of them.

12. What do the Detroit Lions and opossums have in common?
They both play dead at home and get killed on the road.

10. They started out well in 2007.
The Lions started 6-2 in '07, and a victory over the Chiefs in week 16 is their only win since. That's 1-23 in their last 24.
