1. I boarded my 4 pound Maltese with my vet in Richmond Va several yrs ago

When I returned 3 days later, they didn't know where my dog was. I went searching WITH them and we eventually found him in a drying cage. I had no idea how long he had been there and neither did they. I have never boarded him again. I was horified. He was huddled in the corner. Tortured, basically, while I paid for it.

3. Fortunately my father has a first class groomer for his dog

If I was still in the states and had a dog, I'd go for one of those groomers who came to my house and did it.

It would cost more, but I'd know how my dog was being treated the whole time.

4. The only cages big enough for my dogs are jail cells.
