That's according to CNN. It's unclear whether that includes all universities.

2. The universities are closed where I am
Sadly Zacatecas has also had to cancel its National Fair, which is its biggest tourism event of the year. It's going to hurt. Everybody's walking around in blue masks who are walking around, but it's kind of a ghost town even on this work day. I am glad to report no swine flu cases thus far in the state. I hope it stays this way. I'm taking all personal precautions, stocked up on food and water, and so forth, but I am retired, so I don't have to go out to work. My neighbors, of course, aren't able to miss too much work and now with kids home from school, it's going to be really hard on people. Mostly they feel it's better to be safe than sorry, naturally.

6. The state has been testing all flu cases for a couple of weeks now
There were 139 cases of flu statewide and though two were considered suspect, none turned out to be swine flu. I'm keeping my fingers crossed, but I doubt we will escape completely. Thank you for the good wishes.
