DCCC targets Bachmann with new website

The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) launched a website targeting one of the most outspoken members of Congress, Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.), for what it alleges are "extreme rhetoric and false claims."

After fending off a late surge from Democrat El Tinklenberg last fall, the DCCC is wasting no time in targeting Bachmann in 2010.

The site, BachmannWatch.com, includes a number of statements and videos of interviews from Bachmann, speaking on topics ranging from earmarks and cap-and-trade to ACORN and the stimulus bill passed by Congress earlier this year.

"Michele Bachmann isn't just out of touch with Minnesota families, she is out of touch with the truth," said DCCC Midwest press secretary Gabby Adler. "Michele Bachmann will say anything to support her extreme agenda, even if it means lying and twisting the truth."
