.... fell from the sky and landed in the lake in the middle of Hanoi. His arms were broken and kept such that, to this day, he is incapable of raising his arms above his shoulders. And so it continued for five years. All manner of hell.

And yet this man is defending our torturers.

We are so much better with this man being marginalized.

Thank you for your service, John McCain.

This torture issue is the GOP's new global warming. I'm sick to death of the "the jury isn't in yet on whether waterboarding is torture or not" shit. Of course, it is. It's just as true as the earth's climate is changing dramatically.

I have no doubt the torture he experienced has damaged him. There's just no way this man is in charge of his mind right now.
