3. I can get my jollies there, but it's Arlen in the General...
The Party has promised an unopposed run in the primary. Oh, there'll be somebody on the ballot, but they'll have a snowball's chance of getting the nomination.

10. And thats what I want to see. Somebody else run against him.
They dont need to be backed by the DSCC, but at least lets put up a real Democrat vs the DINO (And yes, he fits that term perfectly)

2. I suggest you start making clear to Arlen that
if he wants your vote, he has to start acting like a Dem NOW! Like, double or triple what he might think is enough.

If nothing else, maybe we can get a year of cooperation from him! Put the pressure on him now.

4. Arlen will be listening real hard, I'm sure....
Arlen might listen to complaints from the Right, but not from the Left.

His answer to anything from the Left will be "Toomey"

8. if repubs hate him with the fire of 100 suns, he might have to listen
Sorta like Lieberman in reverse, he's gotta dance with whomever isn't recoiling in horror.

5. Realize this: You may have two Rs in the election next time, and ZERO Dems.

CLEVER by a factor of TEN. They were going to lose PA to the Dems.
Arlen decided to STOP that business and save his own arse.

9. I agree. Now, we would have gotten a Casey-type conservative Dem...
but he/she would probably have been better than Snarlin Arlen..
