$10,000 a month to Tweet?
It's a job almost too good to be true: Spend six months learning the wine business, chatting and blogging with your online friends, making videos and living rent-free in Healdsburg. And here's the kicker: You'll get paid $10,000 a month to do it.

Healdsburg winery Murphy-Goode recently announced its plan to hire one lucky social networker for six months, paying them a total of $60,000 from August 2009 to January 2010 to "tell the story of great mountain vines and artisan winemakers of California, tasting the 'goode' stuff and experiencing the unique Sonoma wine country," according to the winery.

Officially known as " Wine Country Lifestyle Correspondent", the new hire will broadcast his or her experiences through social networking sites Twitter, Facebook, blogs and video, according to Caroline Shaw of Jackson Family Wines (which owns Murphy Goode).

"Social media is playing an increasingly important role in our business," Shaw said.

But the medium may already be the message. News of the job has already become a viral phenom, rebroadcast hundreds of times through blogs, Twitter and Facebook posts around the Internet -- a sort of guerrilla marketing that seems to be working well for the under-40 crowd.
