Just got a recorded call from a district superintendent. So far so good. Things may change. For now, Pandemicbots, sorry to spoil your fun.
"SAN DIEGO UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT Message sent - 4/28/2009 Swine Flu Update
This is Superintendent Terry Grier with an important message from San Diego Unified about the swine flu. We currently have no confirmed cases of swine flu in our schools, and all schools will remain open. The County Public Health Department has advised that students who are not ill can safely come to school.
The safety of our students and staff is a top priority. If your child is sick with flu-like symptoms such as fever, cough, congestion, runny nose and/or sore throat, please keep him or her at home. Children who become sick at school will be sent home.
Frequent hand-washing, covering a cough and sneezing into your sleeve are the best protection from the flu and the best defense against the spread of germs, both at school and at home.
If you have questions about the flu, please contact the San Diego County Swine Flu Hotline at (858) 715-2250 or call your personal physician. Information is also posted on the district website at www.sandi.net.
Thank you for your attention. We will continue to keep you updated as needed. To listen to the above message, you will need audio software and speakers on your computer. "
