Openly Nazi priest still active in Italy.
When is Pope Rat The 1rst going to give this pig the kick in the ass out the door he deserves?

Swastika priest
A priest has shocked parishioners by welcoming them to church wearing a swastika armband.

Fascist Father Angelo Idi, 51 - who once saw off a charity box thief with a truncheon at his church in Vigevano, Italy - confessed: "I am proud of my right wing beliefs. But people shouldn't care about my politics, they should care about how good a priest I am."

In northern Italy where former dictator Benito Mussolini comes from the far right Italian LEGA NORD (Northern League) have their political stronghold - and there have been several instances of priests with far right views that have embarrassed the Catholic Church.

5. Ha! Good point. I think that's why Henry Gibson made such a great Nazi in The Blues Brothers.

4. I don't think he's actually the priest: he seems to be a lay member of the church

Churchgoers horror at 'Sacrestano Nazzista'
24 April 2009 18:26
Churchgoers at San Francesco Parish in a small town in Pavia were horrified after their verger, commonly known in Italy as 'sacrestano', Angelo Idi, was brandishing a Nazi armband.

While neo-Nazism isn't widespread in Italy, finding a man employed by the Church wearing the Swastika was not something churchgoers are used to. The local paper broke the story and the national press were quick to pick it up. While Idi was proud of his ideology, the locals were far from accomodating, mostly saying this is a "shameful" and "horrible" thing for a man associated with the Church ... http://www.maltastar.com/pages/ms09dart.asp?a=1335

Angelo Idi, le sacristain national-socialiste
By Aglio E Cipolla

A standard translation of "sacristain" is "sexton"
