A generation ago?? (Anita Hill)
The reporter on ABC News mentioned Specter in connection with the Clarence Thomas nomination and the testimony of Anita Hill, as "a generation ago."

Um... this happened in 1991. Is a span of 18 years now considered a generation?

1. They're sloppy with language,
and I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt because otherwise I'd have to acknowledge that they're that ignorant.

They use the word "decimate" to mean "horribly wiped out" and that's just one of the many that drive me nuts..................

3. Well if you were 10 when Clarence Thomas was nominated
you'd be 28 now. I'd say that's a generation. Time flies. None of us are getting younger.

7. Someone born in 1991 could have their own spawn now, so I guess it could be. n/t

10. At our age, we're expected to be above that.
At first glance, I thought you were complaining about Anita Bryant, from decades ago.
