They truly are clueless, aren't they?

"Do you remember the 1972 Democratic Convention? This was the convention which put abortion on the party's platform. I watched this on tv. I also remember a Democrat Convention which could have been 1972 or maybe 1976, this time they put gay rights on the party platform. I wish someone in the Republican Party could find these archives and show the whole country how the Democratic Party accepted these extreme views and officially put it on their party platform. It appears that there are too many naive Democratic voters who have never heard of this and are under the illusion that only a few extreme liberals support these things. They should see with their own eyes, the Democrat leaders announcing their support of abortion and the gay agenda. Then maybe some of them will understand that this radicalism comes from the top down and is the official position of the Democrat Party. You can't tell that to some Democrats."

Do they really think there are masses of people out there who don't know the Democrats' position by now, and are just going to suddenly create a tidal shift to the right if the GOP screams about the issues for the zillionth time?

I'm beginning to think they may go under 30 seats in the Senate before they figure out just how looney the country see them as.

3. That's a good idea, actually.
Show Americans how long the Democrats have been fighting for equality and justice, and how long the Republicans have been opposing it out of pure hatred and fear.

5. I suppose they've forgotten or never knew that Barry Goldwater
supported choice and didn't slam the GLBT community.

Personally, I hope these dolts never figure it out and continue to lose seats. Heck, maybe even here in TN (along with some other states) where the repukes have been regionalized to, we can go back to electing liberal democrats. I might not like everything about Estes Kefauver, but we could use more elected democrats like him in this state.

Yes, they are clueless, and may we live long and prosper.
