What does Joe Dead Intern have to say about the Specter
switch? Is Mika Mouse having to keep sharp objects from his reach? Somebody clean out his medicine cabinet? Surely he doesn't have access to firearms today. What excuse does he have for "explaining" how the GOP never wanted Specter anyway, and how the American people will be so upset, and how democracy died yesterday, yadda, yadda, yadda. He is wrong about everything but he is so convinced (and has convinced Little Mika Mouse) that he is all knowing about all things political so I am sure he has a completely irrational explanation about it all. I am interested in his spin of yesterday's events if anyone has had the fortitude to watch this mess of a show.

Anybody watching Dead Intern in the Morning to see how he is holding up? I just can't find the MSNBC channel before 9 am each day.

1. First he said "his party" was in trouble and then he sort of..
distanced himself from the republicans by calling himself a "conservative-slash-libertarian". I think he is just confused.

3. I only saw part
where Smirconish came on to hawk his new book/talk about Specter. He said that the Republican party litmus tests were ruining the GOP, and Dead Intern got pissy and said "How about litmus tests for spending? I think that's a good litmus test" (yeah, even though he campaigned for Bush in 04, after a lot of said spending in the Bush administration that he now criticizes had taken place). Smirc said that he meant more turning down Tom Ridge for VP because he was pro-choice, and that the problem was that things are discussed in black and white with no nuance on tv and radio. Mika said that she thinks Morning Joe is an "exception to that" (of course Mika), because we are supposed to believe that Morning Joe is a place for intellectual discourse. Joe said that it is a big win for the Obama white House, but when he was called onto MSNBC later yesterday to discuss it, he said that now the Obama white house doesn't have to use "legislative tricks" to pass stuff now that they have Specter. We all know that Specter is not a reliable 60th vote, so this might just be so Joe can bitch about said legislative tricks later on and hawk his "I'm the last great hope of the GOP" book that just came out.
