1. He makes a living doing this "challenge the cops" crap.

He doesn't have a case or the law on his side. The Supreme Court has ruled that Border Patrol roadblocks are valid within a hundred miles of the border. You only hear his side of the story in that link. He hasn't filed a complaint against either the Border Patrol or the state cops who made the arrest.

There was a huge thread on this a few days ago. FWIW, the guy is also a nutcase. He thinks Jews are the antichrist, women should be subservient, Jesus wore pants, and he even gave a long sermon in his "church" (looks like a shitbox storefront with a lectern from Prison Industries) about men pissing against walls.

I suppose "real" is one of those subjective things. He sure seems to think he's "real" -- the issue of the quality of his product is probably more easily verified (it's pure shit).
