Steven L. Anderson: The Gutsiest Man In America & A True Patriot
If only we were all as brave as this man. A tale of our Border Security out of control.
(intro)

Hello this is Steven Anderson, pastor of Faithful Word Baptist church. I just want to record this video while everythinng's still fresh in my mind; to tell the story about what happened to me last night. I was driving back from San Diego to Pheonix .. Eh, today is Wednesday, the 15th . This was yesterday on the 14th, I'm driving back from San Diego to Pheonix, and I go through a Border Patrol suspicionless, internal check point.

1. Repeat- still no real press on the alleged incident
Anderson is a bit off his rocker if his website is any clue.

Which doesn't mean that the internal checkpoints are OK with me, just saying.

3. I hate it when cops act like pigs. I also hate it when idiots provoke cops.

This guy got exactly what he was hoping to get -- a reason to call attention to himself.

4. pastor steven anderson is a good example of how close the left and the right are on some issues.
while i cheer his obstinacy in dealing with border guards who are no where near the border i would venture to guess that that is where our agreement ends.
this young minister does not really believe in defending all of our rights equally. from his pulpit he happily rails against the sin of homosexuality and he promotes discrimination against this group and others he deems "vile".
and even though i find both his encounters with the border guards and his "sermons" interesting, informative and somewhat entertaining, his tendency to videotape his every speaking moment troubles me.
i don't particularly care if he wants to record his own "wisdom" but i wonder at the motives for a man of the cloth.

5. Having Listened To His Sermon, Sir
My only comment is that, while my normal reaction would be to denounce the police in a matter like this, on occasion the Universe does arrange itself properly around some individual for a space of time, so that what that person ought to experience is precisely the experience that person has....
