Elderly Sisters Face Heroin Charges (when SS isnt enough I guess)

STROUD TOWNSHIP, Pa. - Two elderly sisters face charges they dealt heroin in the Poconos.

Police said they recovered thousands of dollars worth of the drugs in the homes of 70-year-old Elizabeth Grube and 65-year-old Elaine Volkert of the 1000 block of Ehler Street.

Investigators said they also recovered Oxycontin and marijuana.

Police said that Grube and Volkert had, for the past six months, been selling between 500 and 1,500 bags of heroin every two weeks. Prior to selling heroin, the duo had been selling crack cocaine, said investigators.

And they were probably nice ladies too, up until the oxycontin, crack and heroin part. There's nothing great about that legacy. Going out and taking other people with you is never great.
