Neither bragging nor complaining but me, my wife, my father, my brother and my father in law have a combined 77 years of military service to our country. My died in the wool democratic father in law would have had a lot more years in the Army but he lost his Arm in WW2. My wonderful FIL has one of my favorite quotes "I wouldn't waste spit on a republican."

34. yeah, Mom's family has had members serving in every US war since before the Revolution,

both sides in the Civil War, WWI and mom's 4 brothers in WWII, while my mom and dad both worked in defense plants.
My brother and I were in the Army in the '60's and '70's.

served in the Navy and I had to take care of some of his travel arrangements. He was somewhat of a prima donna pain in the ass. David Robinson on the other hand was a joy to work with as he assisted the Navy Recruiting effort.
