Yesterday, I called Conyers' office with the House Judiciary Committee.

I asked when Rove and Miers were going to be deposed. I was told by the person answering the phone that they were not going to release that date to the public. I asked if it had already taken place. He said, "no." I asked if it had been scheduled. He said, "no." I commented that I thought it odd that Conyers had been in such a damned hurry when issuing the subpoenas, and that now that agreement had been reached that it seems like he is dragging his feet, not wanting it to happen.

The guy on the other end said, "That's not Mr. Conyer's fault." I said, "Is it a problem with Karl Rove not finding the time, yet?" He said, "yes." I asked, "is this really going to happen?" He said, "yes." I asked, "will the depositions be made public?" He said, "yes, but not immediately."

I will say it again. I think that John Conyers is full of shit, and I wish he would either do his damned job, or resign his chair and give it to Wexler.

1. Don't see why Rove's schedule should be our problem!

2. Rove sure can find time to bloviate on Faux News about things.
Perhaps Conyers should suggest to Rove that he needs to cancel a few personal appearances to make time for this important appearance.

I would love to see Wexler in charge!

4. And, that tells us he really doesn't want to see it.
All bark, no bite, Conyers.

5. "What's so special about him?"
That's what Conyers said about Rove when I called his office years ago.

Now I think "What's so special about" Conyers? Absolutely nothing!
