Swine flu and no national health insurance
I have a number of friends who have no health insurance.
They have not seen a doctor in years.
They can not afford to.
I wonder if infected, how long will they wait.....
too long?????

Third world health care makes for third word mortality rates.....

1. If I get it, I'm going to have to ride it out at home
It's as simple as that.

3. Same here. $100 bucks or more to walk in the door at a doctor's office around here....

...ER is 20-30 times that. Just don't have it available to spend. Sorry.

Single-Payer healthcare for ALL. We can't afford NOT to do this. (Especially now.)

2. Republican (financial) Darwinism -
the survival of the fittest (the insured) at work.

This just highlights what we already know, and, if this flu thing is so bad, why isn't our government setting up free clinics in strategic locations, to help the people who get sick?

Yeah, I know. That last one made me laugh, too ......................

4. They are just giving people Tamiflu and sending them home with instructions
It's the flu for god's sake. Due to all the hoopla it's more likely they'll end up being over treated and hospitalized.
