unpopular person in the US, he has nothing to lose. Chances are sometime over the next few years there will be some kind of terrorist attack, I think most likely a home grown right winger like McVeigh. Anyway I think that's what the Republicans are betting on, if it happens Cheney will be a hero to the Repugs and they have an issue for the next election. If not nobody cares.
