Especially my friend and his wife. She is a doctor who used to perform abortions here in Kansas. She was repeatedly threatened and her clinic was firebombed but the person who did it was never caught. (Three guesses as to the #1 suspect)

Just because Roeder was caught doesn't mean this is over. Not by a long shot. We are very very concerned about copy cat crimes.

Federal law enforcement is coordinating with local law enforcement officials in Kansas on the investigation of this crime, and I have directed the United States Marshals Service to offer protection to other appropriate people and facilities around the nation. The Department of Justice will work to bring the perpetrator of this crime to justice. Good luck. For what it is worth, I find that most of them are too chicken to stand up for their Democratic ideals. There is no education going on here so people remain in the dark and their reps have no choice but to represent them. If I had a nickel for every one of them I have personally lobbied who told me they agreed with me but there was no support for what I was asking in their area. I ask why they do not try to educate their people and the answer is always, I can't get re-elected if they think I agree with you.
