Ranking candidates by money raised . . .
. . . is amazingly antithetical to what we need out of our campaigns.

We need to pull the focus back on the issues and initiatives proposed by these candidates. When I hear the references to money raised, it almost always comes without any reference to what the candidate is proposing behind that support. The entire focus seems like a deliberate distraction. I have noticed that support in some of the key states isn't mirroring the money race, at least in the polls.

1. I agree.
It needs to be about something bigger than money.

2. I think some..
who missed it, take a look at CNN transcript with Howard Dean. He also believes in complete finance reform.
But we work with what we have meantime.

3. The networks and cable news are all into the money.
And why not? Political campaigns bring in mega Dollars in advertising.

4. that's the rub
and they shamelessly talk about finance reform. It pays their salary and bonus. Now the campaign season is longer . . .
