Uproar around the reporters in NK is proof that our terrorist detention policy is awful

I feel like North Korea has unfairly detained some of our citizens and I want them back. Reflecting on what we are doing with the Yemeni, Pakistani, and Afghans in Guantanamo I can understand their outrage at our authoritarian policy. At least Ling and Lee were tried public and given sentences. I know that Obama has to weigh security vs. civil liberties, but I really hope that he can end some of the most atrocious policies like preventive detention and rendition.
