Laura Bush Speaks Out in Interview

AP(June 8) -- Describing her husband as "very gracious," former first lady Laura Bush said he would maintain his silence on the policies and practices of the Obama administration.
"George feels like, as a former president, that he owes President Obama his silence on issues, and that there's no reason to second-guess any decisions that he makes," Mrs. Bush said of former President George W. Bush in an interview broadcast Monday on ABC's 'Good Morning America.' .......


........At the same time, Mrs. Bush said she understood why former Vice President Dick Cheney has been so vocal and critical of President Barack Obama and his policies -- particularly on national security matters.
"I think that's his right as a citizen of the U.S., and I think he also feels obligated," the former first lady said.......
