I have something in common with Tweety. And no, I don't consider him a Philadelphian despite his assertions to the contrary...

4. She is odious in the extreme . . .
Which is why I'm dying to see her on the 'Lican ticket in 2012. Palin/Gingrich, Palin/Jinadal, Palin/Pense, Palin/Huckabee (or the reverse) . . . any of those pairings are music to my ears.

7. here's one of my biggest problems with her.... and why i can't understand why i see so many palin
2012 stickers around my town.... she has no intellectual curiosity. I do not want a president who has no thirst for knowledge. Bush didn't have any desire to learn or know things. I think it is paramount that the person who is running the country at the very least have a desire to know about things beyond their little world. Things about the world. about science. about history. Stupid jeopardy types of things. Very big things. Everything. I want someone who has intellectual curiosity. They do not need to have a 4.0 from Harvard. They do not need to be top of their class. But they need to WANT to know things. More than what they have to know.

10. About the same time racism became a Republican value.
Along with hating gays, labor, the poor...

You get the picture.

12. You missed my point entirely.
The statements made by one person, a commentator on the television, does not represent the Democratic Party one bit.

But they took it upon themselves to paint with the broadest brush possible.

As did I.

the point being, a whole lot of alleged progressives/liberals seem to have no problem making sexist comments about Palin. It's quite easy to disagree with a woman without bringing gender into it. But you wouldn't know that around here the way people talk about Palin, Malkin, Coulter, etc.

14. And the vitriol thrown at male politicians never gets any notice.
Palin uses her sex as a political asset, she should get called on it.

She still thinks the political arena is a beauty contest.

Fair game.

17. Are you really that clueless...
male politicians are not made fun of or insulted for simply being male. If you want to comment on her policies or ideals...fine. But whenever people start commenting on a woman's looks or calling her gender slurs (bimbo, slut, bitch, we even saw cunt directed at Palin during the election) or complaining about things that they would never bring up about male politicians (like the constant focus on Hillary Clinton's pantsuits), that crosses the fucking line.

Whatever. I'm so fucking tired of this particular fight.

19. Clueless?
How about every time someone has to mention how small a particular male politicians genitals may be? There are 'small dick' posts made all the time. That's only one of them, but the most prevalent.

You don't think that insult is gender specific?

Are you that blind that you never, ever see them posted on this site?

I guess you only see what you want to.

Take care to not fall off your high horse.
