Howard Dean was just on CNBC kicking butt!
Joe Kernan says that private insurance can't compete with the Government and the Government will land up rationing health care.

Howard says flat out "this is totally untrue...not one thing you just said is true. That is the Frank Luntz approach you know the propagandist approach". lol.

Kernan whines about being slapped down and Dean continues..."You can't say that stuff on television and expect people to believe it".

It was classic.

3. Mine too. The best thing about Dean is he has not waivered in his beliefs, which in my opinion are
squarely on the side of those in this country who need a voice the most.

The working class.

4. Me too!
Kernan knew he was going to get a slap down too. He started off the segment by saying how they were colleagues since Dean is a contributor. Gosh I was rolling.

8. At the end of the sequence Joe says
that Safeway claims market based solutions can decrease costs by blah blah blah, and Dean says "we've had 60 years for market based solutions to work and it hasn't happened yet". Kernan continues "Well you'll be back because we own you as a contributor" and everybody is kind of giggling. They know Dean smacked em all down including Carl Quintanilla.

11. I like dean because he keeps his cool and doesn't stutter. and he doesn't mince words.
He will flat out tell you you are wrong. He doesn't hedge and say someone is mistaken or anything else. If he thinks they are lying, he says so. Love it. We need more of that. Too many hem and haw and stumble over their words and give in. it's ridiculous.
