1. Bristol is an adult, promoting a policy Sarah believes in...
Not a 14 year old caught in a bad joke. Let it go.

3. The joke wasn't about the 14 year old.
I'll assume you're smart enough to know that considering that it was the 18 year old who had been knocked up previously.

4. I assume you're smart enough to know it was the 14-year old at the baseball game.
The joke was about knocking up the daughter at the ball game.

It was tasteless and crass no matter which daughter it was.

6. That doesn't mean fuck all
Tehre was ONE PAlin daughter who got knocked up and was paraded on stage as an example of Republican family values and that daughter was the butt of the joke.

And Bristol Palin is fair game.

And the best comedy is tasteless and crass no matter whose fucked up sensibilities get offended.

Fucking listen to Lenny Bruce or George Carlin recordings if you don't believe it.

12. That doesn't matter one iota.
No one knew at the time that Willow was there and even if they did, the sisters look almost identical. Any sane person knew that Letterman was referring Bristol because she was the one who was knocked up. Also, the only assertion that it was Willow at the game and not Bristol (or perhaps none of her children) has come from Palin herself. This is nothing but manufactured outraged from the slutty flight stewardess with a low double digit IQ.

20. this right here is a prime example of why dems get their asses kicked up one side and down the other
EVERYBODY knows that Dave was talking about Bristol. I don't give two shits if it was Willow at the ballgame. But you go right ahead andlet these turd buckets frame the argument. That has worked out so well over the years, hasn't it?

23. 99.999999 % of America had no clue anyone even went to a
ball game. Let alone who was in attendance. Most people don't watch the nightly where the heck is Palin and all her children now report. Clearly the writer of said joke didn't even know. Letterman clearly had no clue anyone would focus only on one day at one ballpark. It's not like his whole audience recoiled in horror at the joke. They had no clue. Funny enough the shows already apologized for the few people that knew who was actually at the park and/or gave a crap. If your not smarter than to understand why this joke was written and said then you might as well believe every single thing the RW ever says. Global warming not real, denying your right to sue your doctor well save the health care industry, Bill and Hillary secret murder people...

15. FINE! I am willing to forgive him and not give a further shit about it....
Just appologize, explain it, and STFU about it. From there on out, Palin looks like a attention whore.

For now, she looks like an offended mother who's 14 year old daughter was insulted.

16. He did apologize and explain it. It's PALIN who won't let it go.
She's going to whore herself out for attention as long as the media enables her (which is to say indefinitely). She's the most thin skinned politician I've ever seen and constantly uses her media spotlight to try to draw sympathy to herself. I hope Letterman goes after her twice as hard now.

Just appologize. His statement just made it worse.

19. He said it was in poor taste and then he explained himself.
Why the hell should he apologize for something that he didn't do? And why the hell should he apologize when Sarah Palin is out there mischaracterizing his remarks or flat out lying about them? She's trash and she's doing anything in her power to whip up some sympathy from the elements of society who are stupid enough to believe her tripe.

Of course, it can be truthfully said that ALL politicians use their kids and families as props.

Hope Mr Letterman finds his greatest comedy lines with the entire Palin family.

Anyone listen to Limbaugh or the freaky fundies that applauded Palin's hate speeches?
Go Dave!!
