Media has been duped by Palin

Cover your eyes and ears because I need to rant.

The media has played right into the hands of the extreme Right and their goddess, Ms. Palin. A woman, who by her own doing, actions and words, is an embarrassment (and a caricature) to women. So here are " Media's women talking heads", getting all defensive about images of "women" when we have the biggest idiot in the world, getting tons of air time, while she twists Letterman's joke to suit her personal goals.

The Right is laughing. Comedy has made huge in-roads to conveying observations about our society and our Politics particularly in regards to exposing the hypocrisy of the Right. No mention is there of "Freedom of Speech" when it comes to the Left, is there? But it is somehow OK to not keep in the forefront the scathing comments by Palin herself about our President and others. All exaggerations and potentially harmful.

So who is going to ask her to apologize for insinuating Mr. Letterman is a pedophile? Truly disgusting and frequently way too common statements like this from Palin and yet the Media just gleefully gives her air time. Well people of the Media, YOU ARE STUPID. You fell for it thinking that Palin has some sort of "conscience and kindness" in her heart. This woman who ariel shoots wolves for sport for rich tourists and wants the Polar Bears next. And let us not even start the talk about the Indigenous Peoples of Alaska. This woman who continues her "incessant need for attention", whose best bet would be to learn the Pageant Mantra "I want World Peace" and shut up.

Palin represents all that is vile with the Right. They would love to shut up the skilled Comedians who have been actually doing a Patriotic duty in educating America while allowing us to laugh for our mental health. Rodriquez was more the brunt of the joke and sure, Palin's "soap- opera sagas in her family" is fodder, she herself brought upon her family, prancing her kids out like props, using them for her own gain. Yes, Letterman could have changed "one" word in the joke but the whole point has been missed here and Palin has run with it, using the Media to feign sympathy from the Public. This stupid, hostile, ignorant woman, who trys to pass herself off as a serious Political Candidate of any kind.

The Media should apologize for keeping the public stupid.

no voice for the collective. The media is attempting to show something from the right and this is all that's out there. That is one thought on the issue.
