Jon Meacham said "reality is messy"

he is the editor of Newsweek and was on Wash. Journal this a.m.

he talked but didn't actually say anything. was quite good at deflecting questions and was subtly an apologist for the neo cons.

I never thought of reality as being messy. whatever could he mean re: reporting the news in his magazine? that reporting reality is messy or that reality is messy. or both?

messy is: lies, half truths, spin, propaganda, etc.
