PETA....GO F..U..SELF....Obamas Fly Swat

IMO....PETA is no better an extreme cause than humans who kill abortion DOCTORS.....

****************************************************************************************

By Associated Press
WASHINGTON (AP) - The group People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals wants the flyswatter in chief to try taking a more humane attitude the next time he's bedeviled by a fly in the White House.

PETA is sending President Barack Obama a Katcha Bug Humane Bug Catcher, a device that allows users to trap a house fly and then release it outside.

"We support compassion even for the most curious, smallest and least sympathetic animals," PETA spokesman Bruce Friedrich said Wednesday. "We believe that people, where they can be compassionate, should be, for all animals."

During an interview for CNBC at the White House on Tuesday, a fly intruded on Obama's conversation with correspondent John Harwood.

3. well, i am sure most will be able to relate to the president's dilemma.
I kill, or at least attempt to kill, a lot of flies every day. I HATE flies. PETA can go to hell. flies aren't animals... they are insects. and unless they've seen maggots, they can't even understand. Am I supposed to not kill mosquitoes either??? because I have killed lots of those too.

I don't kill bugs if I don't have to.
I kinda like most bugs, in fact.
I would never kill a spider.
I certainly kill mosquitoes that are trying to bite me, and I would have done what Obama did to that particular fly, but in general, I leave bugs alone if they leave me alone.

Im a vegan, I support animal rights, but a fly? Im sorry. I save spiders, and if I 'can' save a fly I will, but for christs sake a fly???? or a mosquito...geezus!! even other animals swat them down...whats next, calling 'maggots' wormkittens? PETA is going to frak themselves out of all legitimacy if they keep this up. In other words, choose your battles well PETA.

After the first day they would have about a quarter inch of dead mayflies laying on the floor. Day two they could have about 100 million mayflies buzzing around. At the end of day two they would have about 2 1/2 inches of dead may flies laying on the floor. Rise and repeat.

I'm all for treating animals ethically, but I try to be realistic about it. Insects breed and die in large numbers. Birds eat them and people squash them. That's life, they'll make more to replace the ones lost. I'd rather not have Obama distracted when he's speaking on something important. In an indirect way it was self defense.

30. PETA people evince a higher form of self-loathing. Almost clinical in degree.
The Southpark episode where the remote PETA village is found and human/animals are bred comes to mind. I wouldn't be surprised in the least if those paraphilic types who get off on dressing up as furry animals are overwhelmingly PETA members. There's some aspect of self-loathing inherent to the rabid position that anything not-human is sacred, even when the existence of said non-human entity is a direct threat to human health and well-being.

INSECTS ARE NOT ANIMALS.
