9. I just checked to see how it's done in the political videos forum

Evidently that forum's post function is set up to automatically add the necessary code to show the actual video; all you have to do there is stick the url (like above) in the appropriate input box.

I tried the embed link from YT here like you did and no dice. Providing the direct link seems to be the easiest way outside of the political videos forum. I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong!
