I like his music quite a bit and see him as somewhat of a tragic figure in light of the rest of his life, I'd be a hypocrite if I were to tell people to not speak ill. Why? Because I was pleased as bunch to see Reagan go and felt the same way about Pinochet, Suharto, Madame Chiang Kai-shek, Jesse Helms, Strom Thurmond, and Jack Valenti, to name a few. I'll be even happier to see Karen Tandy of DEA infamy to join those fucks in Hell.

As for what inspired this topic? Me reading about Hollywood, Jack Valenti, and his role in lobbying for the DMCA and other copyright reforms that belong only in Nazi Germany.

No one is stopping them from starting their own, 'MJ reeks' threads. Go at it. That way, I can hide those threads and those who want to join them are free to do so. Just stop pissing on the positive threads.

4. Those posters were just offering guidance to someone complaining

about watching MJ coverage as if they are really being FORCED to watch it. Cable and satellite offer a hundred or more channels to choose from. I can assure you that they are not all showing MJ coverage.

5. 'Millions of things you can do to avoid whining about it in public.' Sounds to me

like he/she was saying they don't have a right to "whine about it in public". I wasn't forced to watch anything but I wasn't able to watch what I wanted to watch because it was all about MJ. Sure there are 100's of cable channels but who has 100's of channels I for one can't afford all of them. Besides after I put in a full days work why does some one feel they have the right to tell me what I can/should do when I want to catch up on the world news and can not.Michael Jackson died okay say your condolences and move on the world did not stop!

Also when someone says.."Then don't fucking watch it!" doesn't quite sound like guidance to me it sounds kind of demanding.

3. My conservative "fundy" nephews and niece LOVE Michael

There is hope. We got together for a family party yesterday and I was sorta confrontational. They all told me they LOVE Michael.

What is more, they said nothing had ever been proven. We don't know what happened. INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY.
