3. I've been thinking about him

hunkered down at the ranch, snowed in, so to speak. He can't get out to bike or cut brush. He's got to feel like the walls are closing in. It's not even safe for him to go to military bases anymore. The disapproval is universal and palpable. It's a new thing in his experience. I wonder how he's handling it.
