Ronald Andrew Johnson Jr., 23, of College Station, was charged Thursday afternoon with murder in the stabbing of Jonathan Bailey during a fight that began at the V-Bar on College Main Street. According to an ongoing investigation, the Bailey brothers were involved in an incident at the bar. After patrons were expelled about 1:45 a.m., a fight erupted outside and continued along Patricia Street to Lodge Street, where both brothers were stabbed.

They were taken to St. Joseph hospital, where Jonathan Bailey was pronounced dead.

Janson Bailey is listed in fair condition at St. Joseph, said Master Officer Rhonda Seaton of the College Station PoliceDepartment.

About 3 p.m. Thursday, College Station detectives arrested Johnson. He was to be taken to Brazos County Jail late Thursday night, Seaton said.

Johnson, who served in the Marines, came to the defense of his 23-year-old friend and fellow Marine Mike Fuller, said Marshall D. Brown, Fuller's attorney.

Fuller was attacked by the Bailey brothers and their friends, Brown said. He said the two men recently returned from a tour of duty in Iraq, and Fuller, whose family lives in The Woodlands, had come to College Station to visit friends

This is just the beginning.

PS And before you start flaming me about this, I have been right all along about my predictions on the PTSD levels and returning troops. And I have extensive training in the area of PTSD. And very familiar with the military as well.

2. And this is one of the reasons why state sponsored murder is wrong. It erases the line
between right and wrong. Once you turn someone into a killing machine, it isn't easy for all to stop.
