I wonder if Keith O will have Imus as his worst person in the world on Monday.
Or--- does he avoid nominating people from his own network?

1. I don't listen to Imus so I was amazed to
read that he and/or his crew have done this before and that in addition to being a racist, he's a sexist. I'm amazed that he's kept his job.

2. Nope
No need for amazement.
Its only offensive if someone says something like "We have an obligation to help those less fortunate than us".

3. Anything bad that happens to the unfunny-ass-kiss-douche bubble of Imus is good for America
Howard Stern has discussed how he used to rant and rave bringing black female radio station employees to tears by calling them niggers to their faces in addition to abandoning his first family and that Howard hasn't even gotten close to revealing the worst things he knows about him.

All you have to do to highlight the amazing hypocrisy and horrendous taste of Washington power is look at the day and night ways they treat Howard and Imus. True Irreverance and distrust of authority and the willingness to talk about sexual issues or public hypocrisy is a trillion times worse crime than being an unfunny horrible person who'll have on powerful people to bullshit the public.

4. The Shelf Life Has Worn Out
Other than DU, I really haven't seen much comment about the latest Anus anal explosion. Honestly, I think that's a good thing as that means no one's really paying attention to what he says or does...and that's fine with me.

5. Well, he didn't get him for his "money grubbing Jews" remarks, so I rather doubt it.
And I imagine a business decision would ensure that MSNBC talent be excluded from that little pageant.

9. Yep, that's what I was thinking.
However, that might be a little different - it's one thing to call yourself out for doing something stupid; it may be quite another to smack down someone else on your network. I don't know for sure, though.

8. I think the "Best Person in the World"
switch on Friday was the network's way of avoiding the obvious choice of one their own.
