Early this morning on CSPAN broadcast a discussion with this gentleman held at the Center for American Progress. He has some wonderful things to say about humanity and the current bastardization of the application of the teachings of Christ. Now, I'm not a big fan of organized religion, but I do recognize that ritual and the essential need to understand the mysteries of the human condition are a thread that has been pulled throughout the history of mankind. And I'm certain that CSPAN will have that discussion in their video archives for viewing. This man's message is one of tolerance and inclusiveness and peace. It is also one of revolution in the tradition of MLK's attention to poverty. It is well worth listening to and I do want to read the book now.
