Dick Cheney won't be charged ...
Edited on Sun Jul-12-09 03:19 AM by Blue_Roses
at least not for a while. His ties to corroption run too deep. There's too much that needs to be exposed first.
This is an awesome read from H2OMan back in 2005 and it highlights just 'some' of what Dick Cheney is all about.

Who is Dick Cheney?

In the years since Eisenhower warned the nation about the potential threat that the military-industrial complex poses to the democratic process, Dick Cheney has been a part of every republican administration except one -- that of two-term President Ronald Reagan. Because of his secretive manner, many Americans know little about him. He has been considered the "co-president" in the Bush2 administration, and ranks as perhaps the single most powerful vice president in history, yet his actual role remains largely unknown.

--snip--

When shades of reality returned to Washington, DC, Cheney was among those most strongly opposed to any congressional investigation of 9-11. He told democrats that they risked doing serious damage to the war on terrorism. Not surprisingly, Cheney and his old friend Don Rumsfeld were among those advocating that the US respond to what had been identified as an al Qaeda attack on the nation by invading Iraq.

Most readers are familiar with the campaign to frighten America into supporting the Bush plan to invade Iraq: both the president and vice president would repeatedly speak of 9-11 and Saddam in the same breath; they skillfully used the media to imply that Iraq had been the state-sponsor of 9-11.

1. I could have told you that without any complex history...
Nobody gets charged unless they're having sex. Now, if Cheney had sex with Reagan, then there would be charges galore :)

3. Interfering with a corpse only counts if you're not a corpse yourself.

2. Our System Can't Deal With This...
I've said it for years...the legislative is a rigged jury from the outset, thus any investigation would turn into a partisan football game. The judiciary is in a sad state...Holder's just starting to restore profesionalism and integrity to the department, but there are still too many inside the government who owe their jobs and careers to the GOOP and will stonewall wherever possible.

The ultimate place to deal with cheney and his war crimes are in the Hague. His crimes weren't just against Americans but the world...they should join us in demanding ALL the war criminals of the booosh regime are investigated, and if warranted, prosecuted. It's the only way the real truth can come forward. We must never forget and demand accountability wherever...and if this country can't handle this cleaning its own house, then step back and let the rest of the world handle it.

4. It's too bad too, because if there was ever a person in this country that deserves what Saddam got.
..it's Dick Cheney.

May he rot.
