We need a stronger judiciary branch.
And one that is completely neutral. How about dismantling the Justice Department taking it away from the Executive branch and putting all Federal Courts and Justice Department law enforcement officials under the auspices of the U.S. Supreme Court? Pros? Cons?

1. Hmmmmm
How do you ensure that it remains completely neutral?

Are you suggesting there should be checks and balances on the Legislative and Executive Branches but none on the Judicial?

2. We Aren't Going To Get It
Until we reverse the current trend of encouraging or even forcing people into corruption in order to be considered successful.

3. You mean all those Regent U. graduates in the Department of Law aren't working out for you?
Maybe if we just put qualified candidates from reputable institutions into these positions, instead of hacks from mediocre "universities," we would be a lot better off...

5. Then the locus for the commingling of judicial and executive...
...functions -- which is the problem you're addressing -- simply is moved from the executive to the judicial branch.

Moves the problem, doesn't solve it.
