2. Because...
The mere fact he has dark skin is reason enough for most to say that. People forget he is half white too... It's just the American way to have a reason for it...It's also a convenient reason if people can't find anything else. I think he spoke his mind, and didn't have all the fact,and maybe shouldn't have said it, but there are plenty more politicians who say even dumber things, like the government is going to kill your granny!

Americans. We ALL have some percentage of WHITE blood. Some more or less than others. That is why there is such a variety of BROWN PIGMENTATION among African Americans. I know that may make you 'ill' but it is FACT.
