Disbarment of Orly Taitz Sought by California Bar

Even though any questions about President Obama's eligibility to serve as President were put to rest last June with the release of certified proof of his birth in Honolulu, Hawaii on August 4, 1961, which proof has been accepted and validated by the Governor of Hawaii, the United States Congress, former Vice President cheney, over twenty United States District Courts and the United States Supreme Court on at least five separate occasions, some extremists have refused to let the matter die. Just recently, an April Fool's Hoax alleging that the President claimed Indonesian citizenship in his college days, began circulating around the internet.

FINALLY there seems to be a chance that the madness will soon end. The Chief Trial Counsel of the State Bar of the State of California has filed a complaint against Orly Taitz, one of the more outspoken of the conspiracy obsessed, a woman who was unable to gain entry to an Accredited Law School and whose career seems to consist mainly of frivolous attacks on anyone within range. With luck, and with the wisdom that the Courts have unanimously shown when dealing with this ludicrous issue, Ms. Taitz will soon no longer be a practicing attorney. We can only hope it comes soon.

A PDF link to the entire complaint can be found on this site:

51. maybe so ...
... but she has to eat first. Even cuckoos have to eat.

But you could be right, seeing how incompetent she is at forgery, one could say she is incompetent at law and therefore doesn't make a good living off of practicing it. So disbarrment might not have a direct effect on her moving between parallel universes.

26. Agreed. I really am shocked she could pass the California bar.
Edited on Mon Aug-03-09 05:22 PM by TexasObserver
There are some states whose bar exam is not significant entry barriers to practicing law, but California is not one of those. How she could pass that bar exam and still be so clueless about identifying legitimate causes of action and pursuing them is a mystery.

I can't believe the federal courts haven't already withdrawn her right to practice in federal court. Getting approved for federal court practice is harder than simply passing the bar of a particular state. There are not 20% of practicing attorneys who are licensed to appear in federal court. I'm shocked she has not been seriously sanctioned already.

40. FYI
the passage rate on CA's bar is about the same as other states for those who graduated from an ABA accredited law school.

Its all those who never attended law school or attended an unaccredited one that bring down the rate.

27. Why do you believe Bar exams are given online?
When I took the exam, it was pre-online days. Security was tight. Photo id was required for entry to take the exam.

I sincerely doubt that the requirements have gotten laxer over the years.

Often under the guise of "study guides". Given the actual questions and answers to study in advance, a person of even moderate intelligence can pass about any test.

20. Which was why I didn't believe her statement in which she implied that she was a member of the

33. She really said she was a member of the Supreme Court bar?
Very few attorneys join that bar. Basically there's no need to because so few cases go up there so why incur the expense and bother.
I never joined, even though I was admitted to the Courts of Appeals for two circuits.

38. It was during a radio interview that she made the statement, but it was odd
the way in which she said it. I believe she stated that she was "licensed" to practice in California and before the Supreme Court. My husband isn't a member either and he's practiced law for more than 25 years. It seemed laughable that a dentist/mail order lawyer/ real estate agent would be a member of the Supreme Court bar.

50. That's precisely how she put it. I heard the interview.
I'm a paralegal and I kinda went whaaaa...? She did say "licensed," but one doesn't get a "license" for the SCOTUS as you know; one is instead "admitted." HUGE difference.

37. Holy shit...the CalBar complaint!!!
:wow:

Years ago before I retired from the practice of law, I was a Probation Monitor for the CalBar. That complaint is unbelievable. I have seen attys disbarred on far, far less. The best part is the averments as to the false statements in complaints which she has filed with various courts. The precatory language leading up to that discussion states, in paraphrase by me, that to list all of the false statements she has made is far too time consuming, so just the ones submitted to courts are included...and not all of these either!

FUCKING-A!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :bounce:

For once the CalBar kicked ass! :applause:
